Targeted Traffic Techniques for Website Traffic
Targeted traffic is the goal of everyone working online. Without a regular and steady flow of visitors to our sites, we would be out of business very quickly. But how do we connect with these people? There are many ways, both paid and free, but I highly recommend starting with free targeted traffic so that you can start building your business without any added costs. This involves becoming active with SEO (search engine optimization) on your sites, posting regularly to your blog, and writing articles on your topic that can be submitted to the article directories. I teach a course on this called Targeted Traffic Techniques.
Learning as much as you possibly can about SEO will bring you traffic on a daily basis without you having to do any additional work, spend more time, or have an outlay of money. This means that you must know your keywords, and continue to do keyword research regularly. Start with the core phrase that people think of when they want to know more about your topic. For example, if your niche is real estate, start with a search of
Free WordPress Traffic With Your WordPress Blog
Do you want free WordPress traffic? Even if you are new to being an online entrepreneur, you can still get as much traffic as you want and need to your blog and other sites by using WordPress and the free WordPress traffic method. WordPress is a platform used for building blogs and websites. Once you have a hosting account you are able to install it at no additional cost. This is typically referred to as a ‘one click installation’, even though it will actually take you several clicks to set it up. The process of setting up your WordPress site, posting information that is relevant to your topic, and using keywords all along the way will drive massive traffic to your site today and for years to come.
The best training on how to do this easily is from Jim Edwards in his Instant WordPress Traffic course that he created along with SEO expert Gareth Owen. I use this technique each time I write an article or post to one of my blogs.
SEO – search engine optimization needs to become a part of your daily activities online. This is the way to drive as much free traffic as you like to your sites. It’s all about the keywords you use in your
Targeted Traffic to Your Websites
There are so many ways to drive targeted traffic to your sites that this marketing technique should just become part of your daily routine to continue building your business online. We tend to only think of one or two methods to get visitors to our sites, but there are many methods that work extremely well over time. I am recommending Marlon Sanders and his new Traffic Dashboard for anyone who wants to drive targeted traffic to your blog and other websites quickly and easily.
Article marketing is the one way to drive targeted traffic that we all think of, but many people simply do not enjoy the writing process. You can have others write articles for you, but I have never done this. Instead, I write one article each morning and submit it to the largest article directory. This takes me about thirty to forty minutes, and I have now done that more than 1,550 times since March of 2007. You can take a look at my articles here.
Turning that article into a blog post is next for me. I want the article to be published on my own site before the article directory publishes it. This makes sense if you are writing articles to build your own credibility and visibility in your chosen niche.
Search engine optimization (SEO) is another
Drive Free Traffic To Your Websites With WordPress
You can set up a nice looking and focused blog, optin page, sales letter, and more, but if you are not getting enough traffic to your sites you will not make very many sales. I have now seen this so many times that I know it is an issue for many new online marketers. If this describes what has happened with your online business, I am going to share some techniques for driving massive traffic, as well as reaching the exact people who want to purchase what you have to offer. I learned what I am explaining here from Jim Edwards in his Free WordPress Traffic training course.
Your business is all about keywords, the words we all use when we go on the Internet to find information. Many of these are local searches, such as those for a plumber or a hair stylist in your community, but the remainder of these searches are for topics related to the products, courses, and services offered by those working online. The best gift you can ever give yourself and your business is to spend the time necessary to find out exactly which words and phrases your prospects are using when they search for what you do and what you have available for sale.
The next step is to then use these keywords within your
Free Traffic with WordPress
Using WordPress blogs in order to drive more traffic is the way most people working on the Internet today are able to achieve such impressive results. You can’t make any money without traffic, so this is crucial to your success. This is all free traffic, and that’s even more important when you are just starting out. There are various trainings that do this well, and once you have these skills you will be able to write your own ticket when it comes to building your business, growing a list of permission based optin subscribers, and selling your products and services to others online. The free traffic from WordPress blogs is based upon using the right plug-ins, enabling the settings in your blog, choosing the right theme, and more.
The training I am recommending Instant WordPress Traffic from Jim Edwards. It’s only $47 for a limited time, and I am offering my Adwords training as a bonus.
WordPress is free, so once you have a hosting account you can set up as many sites as you wish. I now have more than thirty of my own, and they bring me more traffic than I ever imagined, all without me having to pay for costly advertising. You can also have people returning to your site over and over, so you don’t have to
Build High Value Backlinks in Just a Few Minutes a Day
This is the second in a series of three guest posts from SEO expert Susanne Myers.
Earlier we talked about backlinks and why you should build them. The reason of course was to get more traffic, and thus more subscribers, customers and in the end make more money. Today I want to share a few strategies with you to build high value backlinks in just a few minutes a day. These are simple tasks you should get in the habit of doing anytime you publish a new piece of content.
Social Bookmarking:
Social bookmarking allows you to bookmark a page on a website. You are then able to share those bookmarks with your network. Bookmarking is a great way to get your new content indexed with the search engines right away and it builds a link for you at the same time. Here’s a short list of the bookmarking and social media sites I like to use.
• Stumbleupon
• Reddit
• Delicious
• Digg
• Maxx
There are quite a few other ones out there as well. Just use a few of your favorite and rotate through them, bookmarking new content in 2 or 3 of them each time you publish something new.
Tweet It and Stick It On Facebook, Too
After you write your blog post or article, tweet about it and include the link in your tweet. While most twitter links are no-followed, they do occasionally count (via rss feeds and such), but more importantly, you are driving traffic and spreading the word about your content. This alone will get you some links as others link to your blog post from their blogs or various web properties.
For the same reason you should link to your new content from facebook as well. I do this by integrating my twitter account into my facebook account.
Blog Commenting
Another quick link building task that you can tackle even if you just have a few minutes here and there to work on your site is blog commenting. Find a few of the bigger blogs in your market and then make it a goal to comment on them on a regular basis. Make sure you are contributing to the conversation, not just adding a comment for a link’s sake and you will quickly notice an increase in traffic and “link juice” to your site.
Forum Participation
Forums work for the same reason blog comments do. A lot of people read them and as long as you are posting something of value, people will gladly check out the link in your post or in your signature for the forum. Find one or two forums in your market and make it a habit to participate for a few minutes each day linking to your content as it applies. Just be sure to read the forum rules before posting.
If you have just a little bit more time, say 20 minutes or so, write a short little article or a guest blog post and submit it. Just be sure to include a link back to a page on your site that includes a good keyword-rich anchor text link.

What Are Backlinks and Why Do I Need Them?
This is a guest post by the brilliant Susanne Myers. She is an expert in several areas, including this one. She has graciously agreed to write a few posts on this topic so that you can benefit from her knowledge and experience.
Could you use more traffic to your website? And how would you like it if that traffic was very targeted and FREE? I’m guessing your answers are “yes” and “a lot” or something like it. If so, then that’s exactly why you need backlinks. Let me explain…
What Are Backlinks?
Backlinks are all the various links that are pointing to the pages on your website. Some of them will be coming from your own site, when you link from your home page to a particular article or blog post for example. Others will be coming from other sites across the web.
For example, I now have a link to my Easy Link Love site from Connie’s blog as a result of writing this blog post for you. When I publish an article on Ezinearticles.com, that’s another backlink for me.
To find out what sites are linking to you right now, Google “yahoo site explorer” (wow, that just sounded wrong …. moving on), enter your homepage url and then click on the yellow explore url button. This is what you’ll see:

“Inlinks” is yahoo’s term for your backlinks. By the way, in the default setting it includes both links from your own site and others across the web.
Anchor Text Explained…
Another important concept I need you to understand is anchor text. That’s the words you are using to link to another page. Let’s look at two different examples.
If I wanted to invite you to take a look at my affiliate marketing blog, I could create a link like this Click Here. In this case “Click Here” is my anchor text…which by the way wouldn’t be very smart.
Let’s use a better example of anchor text. Instead I could say something like this…
And now I would like to invite you to take a look at my affiliate marketing blog where I share tips and strategies that will help you get started with affiliate marketing.
In this second example “affiliate marketing blog” is my anchor text, which is a

Free Traffic Generation To Your Websites
Traffic generation is the area where all of us know we have room for improvement. When I was starting out I wrote blog posts and articles, but I didn’t know enough about SEO (search engine optimization) to make it worthwhile. Then I began using Adwords to drive traffic to my sites, but that was very expensive. All in all, my traffic generating skills were weak at best.
Over time I learned how to use my keywords in the titles of my posts and articles, but it was a slow process and I was impatient. It took me a full three years to get to the point where I was somewhat satisfied with the number of visitors to my pages on any given day.
Last week Jimmy D. Brown finally launched his Traffic Fuel program, and I was one of the first to sign up. I’ve learned so much from Jimmy over the past four years, and this newest training is all that he promised, and much more. The first month’s lesson consists of three separate eBooks, totalling 76 pages. These strategies are straightforward, and he explains in detail how to drive targeted raffic to your sites without spending a nickel on advertising or anything else. At just twenty dollars a month for 12 months, this course is exactly what you need to increase your income quickly. Let me know what you think about this Traffic Generation program, and be sure to share your favorite free traffic generating strategy with me by leaving a comment here.
